Nicholas J. Williamson, Esquire

Biography:

Nick Williamson is a highly skilled and experienced trial attorney with years of courtroom experience. Mr. Williamson began his career serving as a criminal attorney for over fifteen years. He first worked at the Bucks County Public Defender’s Office for over a decade. Next, he worked at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office for four years. In those capacities, Mr. Williamson handled thousands of cases throughout all stages of the criminal justice process. He has litigated dozens of bench and jury trials in complicated felony matters including homicides, robberies, aggravated assaults, felony drug offenses and sexual offenses. In 2010 he was awarded the “Justice Rising Award” by the Bucks County Bar Association for his work on a firearms jury trial. In recent years, Mr. Williamson has shifted his area of practice to civil law where he has represented hundreds of plaintiffs in personal injury and toxic tort cases.

Mr. Williamson was raised in Montgomery County and graduated from Boyertown Area High School in 1997 with honors. He earned his Bachelors of Arts from Cabrini College in 2001 where he majored in both Psychology and Sociology. He graduated Magna Cum Laude as well as a member of the Cabrini Honors Society and the International Honor Society in Psychology. After college, Mr. Williamson worked as a social worker in Bucks County for two years. In 2006, Mr. Williamson graduated from Villanova University School of Law. During his time at Villanova, he focused his studies on insurance, health and medical law. Mr.Williamson also participated in a clinic which assisted migrant farm workers in realizing the extent of their legal rights.

Mr. Williamson now resides in Media, Delaware County. He is passionate about running and has completed nine marathons throughout the country.
